Where I have been....

Hello Bloggers...

 

I seriously must be the worst blogger on earth!  I have not been on here in over 9 months... A lot has happened since my last post... and I am trying to get into my own rhythm again... The BEST news of all that has happened within the past 9 months is that my gorgeous niece Jayd Khalessi was born on November 20th, 2013 at 5:00 pm weighing 7 Pounds and measuring 20 inches <3 

 

Say Hello to my little Turtle Jayd!  She is 5 months old now :)

 

Anyways, a lot has changed and I am in the middle of searching for a new home so that I can get back on my crafting ball and blogging.

 

I also want to announce that I have a new interest which is planning... I am addicted to Erin Condren Life Planners, I have done so much research and it seems that this is the best planner for me!  I just love all of her designs.  They are a little pricey but I think so so worth it!

I just ordered mine on Thursday 04.24.2014 and I can not wait to received.  I did however already start shopping for washi tape, stickers, markers, etc. to use with my planner.  Here is a sample picture of what mine will look like <3 The design is called Zen Gems <3

Once I receive mine, I will blog about it and try and make a video on how I use my Erin Condren Life Planner.

R.I.P Sweet Talia Joy

Today is a very very sad and heart wrenching day.  Talia Joy, better known as the amazing and oh so talented 13 year old make up artist has lost her fight against cancer today at 11:22 am.  My heart is broken!  She was such an amazing little girl with the biggest spirit I have ever seen.  No matter how bad her situation was she ALWAYS put a smile on all of her fans faces.  She was always happy and so full of Joy.  She truly was an inspiration to all of us.  We could really learn a lot from this amazing girl who not only shared her life with us on every social media outlet known to man, she inspired many of us daily.  

Her smile and happiness despite her battle was contagious. 

I would like to dedicate this post to her and her beautiful family whom must be going through the most painful time of their life.  May God comfort their hearts and their souls knowing that Talia is no longer in pain, that she is free from the world and all the horrible things in it.  She is now in the arms of God and she is running through heaven with that amazing smile that she had and making all of the angels love her as she made all of us love her here on earth.  

Talia, may you be free from all of the anguish you endured.  May you finally have peace and may you be sharing your beautiful soul with all of the angels in heaven. 

You left a legacy on earth, and you will live in all of our hearts forever!

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review

Hello Bloggers...

This is not a craft related blog but I just wanted you guys to know that I have been an iPhone user and lover for the past 3 years, that is until a week ago.  My brother in law and my sister convinced me to switch to the new Samsung Galaxy S4.... the first few days I was so confused and I really wanted my iPhone back... BUT now that I have had it for a week and I have been able to customize it to my liking, I AM IN LOVE!

I also ordered on Overstock.com (which is the first time I order from there) The experience was great!  I will be shopping from there more often... anyway, I ordered this Wallet Case for the phone and now I love my new phone even more.  I paid $11.99 for the case + 2.95 shipping... Well worth it!!!

Did I mention that I am obsessed with Pinterest???  Well just in case you missed it, i Totally am! I can spend hours and hours viewing and pinning... lol so tonight as I was doing so, I came across this picture and I fell in love... this is what my dream craft space would look like...

Oh Yes... how I want this in my life... My walls would be hot pink however... but the work space is exactly want I need in my life... lol

Recent Cards I have made

Hi Bloggers...

I wanted to share with you guys some recent cards that I have made and have not blogged about.  For about 3 months I sort of lost my mojo... I just couldnt get into the crafting spirit.  I do have a lot going on in my life at the moment and I do know that life changes for a reason... So here I am on this boat and I dont know what direction its taking me... but thats ok... I am an adventurous girl... I welcome the changes!!! So here are some of my most recent creations:

 This Card was Inspired by the movie up, which is one of my favorite movies of all times.  One day I will be as lucky as Carl & Ellie were to find each other.

 This card was inspired by Pinterest, which is another one of my obsessions at the moment... I think I have way too much time on my hands... lol

 This one I just thought was a really cute litte boys birthday card... I love the lion driving the train idea. :)

 Love me some 4th of July happiness... I am proud to be an American!

 This one is a shaped teddy bear card that I made using my Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge... LOVE THAT CARTRIDGE! A must have for any Cricut owner!

 Hello Kitty is my all time favorite!  I made this card using a Hello Kitty that was printed on a box from a toy we bought.  Just had to cut her out of the packaging and use her... I also used a tree stump from a Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge... Another must have cartridge...

 Litte bunnies are just the cutest! Had to make this one for Easter.

 Love this baby girl card... so cute... I used the Baby Steps Cartridge and Peach Keen Face Stamps....

 Just a card I created for a challenge on Youtube... love the Cherry Blossoms!

Baby Boy card using the Baby Steps Cartridge... It has the cutest cuts ever!

And last but not least... this Zebra Birthday Card... LOVE ANIMAL PRINT!  This came from the Creat a Critter Cartridge... too adorable!

Hello Everyone... Im Back....

I am so so so excited to be back... with the great help of my friend Dira a/k/a Boots... Hi Bloggers!

Happy New Year!

I am sorry I haven't written in a few days, but I was really busy trying to get some personal things taken care of!

I hope that everyone had an amazing New Years Eve and New Years Day!  Now we are all back to reality! lol. 

I wanted to share with you guys a quick and easy craft project that I made.  About three years ago, I found these two boards at office depot but they were very generic and just blah... I bought them because they were on sale for like $3.00 and I cant turn down a bargain like that! :) So I used them at my desk for a while.  I then took them down and forgot all about them!  Until today that is.... so for those of you who don't know, my favorite color is PINK... mostly the hotter pinks but all pinks are beautiful in my eyes...lol!

Now my favorite combination of colors are Pink and Black... I just think that they are fabulous together! So with that said.... I transformed my boards to something I will enjoy looking at...

TAH DAH.....  FABULOUS! 

WHAT A LITTLE GLUE GUN, RIBBON & BLING CAN DO FOR A GIRLS SOUL!

This transformation took me about 15 mins.  I love how it turned out! Now I can display all of my creations in my own little crafting space. Here is what it looks like now....
